I have decide to make my first post an art and hitory one. The picture that you see is of a very, very, famous sculpture know for us as "The Nile Group", "The River Nile" or just "The Nile". In it you can see the father Nile, and his 14 kids. And can be visited in Vatican City.
I have chose this master piece of art, not just becouse its beuty but becouse a sad story about it.
Long, Long, time ago use to be some kind of people who belived that the body and specially some of its areas are "sins" so they feel very embareched when they first sow this sculpture, they feel so bad that they decide to do something about it. They hand filed the sculpture in order to remove the "SIN" from the good father Nile and from his 14 kids. That was, indee, a hard labor, but they fell they did the right thing.
Of course art nor history will forgive those people who dare to destroy part of a master piece of art, becouse their funny moral.
I know that this happened more thant 500 years ago, and in our modern days such kind of medieval thinking people, exist no more. who will stand today saying that nudity is a sin?
